Happy...

Happy matronly relationship day!  Some of us have other women than the one who gave north to us that have filled that mother role.  For me, it was my BFF's mom.  I loved her like my own mom.  She was the one who talked to me about sex and boys.  She hugged me and cheered me on through my endeavors when my own egg donor couldn't bother with me.  Now that girl child #1 is 18, I imagine in he next few years she'll have a family of her own.  Whether it will be with or without kids remains to be seen.  I can only hold on to the knowledge that she will be a kick-ass mom someday.  I tried my best to guide her and help her learn.  

So happy mom's day to all you mom's out there.  I spend mine this year with my 3 living, and the memory of the 5 angels I have in heaven.
